Riley's Christmas Card

Here is the card I made for Riley (he is deployed to Iraq till February) last night. The paper is CTMH's Jingle and the colors are Juniper, Tulip, Blush and Cocoa. I just love this color combo! The original pattern is from http://susanbluerobot.blogspot.com.

All products are CTMH unless noted:
Patterned Paper: Jingle, Cardstock and Ink: Juniper, Tulip, Cocoa, Blush Embossing Powder:Ranger Iridescence, Sparkles: CTMH sparkles, Ticket Punch: Stampin' Up

My new scrap space!

OK, so I decided that I needed to move my scrap space upstairs to take advantage of all the natural sunlight. Sooooo here it is.....

Look, I'm famous!

Well, maybe not famous, but I was quoted by Nancy Nally from Scrapbook Update quoted me on the frustrations of online Black Friday shopping at Joann.com. She posted about it on her Facebook page and I of course, commented with my personal experience.

Nancy is my "go to gal" when it comes to the scrapbooking and papercrafting industry. You can find links to CHA, articles and sponsors on her website. Thanks Nancy!! ;-)

A full day at college....

Since my mother let tinkerbell out and now I am kitten-less, I can't tell you how thrilled and delighted I am that there are NEW KITTENS!!! :-D I will wait to see what kind of personalities these little ones develop, but I can tell you that two of those little ones will be MINE to play with and love at my new house. Aren't they beautiful!! Once again, God is good.

Altered Stair Step Father's Day Card

I know, I know a little late to post my father's day card, but with Ian graduating and me still moving in, it has been a crazy week! This week is no better with 2 grandmas, 2 aunts, 2 uncles and 1 cousin already here with more on the way for the 4th of July!

I love the stair step cards but didn't want to just give my dad that, he's a bit old fashioned and probably wouldn't have "gotten" it, so I made the card, then adhered it to the inside of a 5x7 card.

It's been a while!

Sooo sorry it's taken so long for me to update my blog....I have been knee deep in a 3 week moving sale and let me tell ya.....it took all 3 weeks to move all that junk!! lol

The leaves have popped out and sun has begun to shine regularly so I'll be posting more pics and stuff soon!

A Day Off....finally

No not today!  But I am taking tomorrow off.  Gotta get some rest and do a little artwork to rejuninate.  Darcie, get the margaritas ready!!

And the sun shines.....AFTER the move in....lol

Well, well, well.....they do have sunshine in upstate NY! So today has been more sorting for the sale this weekend.....and of course sorting the boxes. But where oh where is my Keurig machine?

I had a wonderful dinner and movie my first night at camp, Saturday. Really fab, but tired, you got no idea!! Early dinner and a slight out of mind experience Sunday....sometimes, I really hate being a woman....most of the time I love it.....but sometimes....ARGH, we a stupid creatures! lol

More of the same for the next few days. Hopefully I can go out and discover a little bit of downtown life. Maybe Wednesday.....what do ya think? Anyone up for a glass?

OK y'all I went to my first redneck bar!! OMG its worth writing a book...I'm not sure I'm capable of this transformation. Hey Lucas, any openings at DOD? LOL

Testing my mobile bloggr...do I keep the chinese wedding dress? ARGH! Someone bring me a bottle of bordeaux!! Or if its u Stacey, then Andes Pink'll be fine.

And the boxes never stop!

How is it that I don't remember buying any of this stuff! lol  It's been quite a while since I've seen my NC belongings so it's like Christmas.  Oh, but making decisions about what to keep, now that, that is the challenge!!

What a mess.....

....moving, condensing, sorting, moving, marking, argh!!  How will I ever condense my life into about 20 boxes?  I mean, just my art supplies must be about 15!! lol

I needed a break so went to Darcie's for a little "art therapy" OR as I am now calling it....my art "play date" of the week!  So if you're free on Wednesday, stop by for a cup 'o joe and don't forget your paint brush or tape runner!!

Moving to Parishville, NY.......

I'm getting ready to jump start my creativity in the beautiful Adirondack mountains! Here's a pic of the house....I'll start moving in the second weekend of May!
