MFTWSC9 Get Well Soon!!
Hey everyone! Hope y'all are feeling well....if not, I've got a card for ya! I'm full of all of these creative juices and just can't stop creating!
I've got a few people that I needed "Get Well" cards for so I thought I'd try my hand at the MFT sketch with some lovely Pure Innocence stamps.
I started with this fab paper from Moxxie. I used the MFT Rosette Die-namic to create the background for the little PI Doctor. I stamped the sentiment from the Best Medicine stamp set on canvas. It looks just like bandage fabric; So cool!!
I used a couple of dies from PTI to finish the rosette, a little clip from SU on the clipboard, Glossy Accents and a piece of bling on the stethoscope and the clear Spica pen on his little buttons. I finished off the card with brads and some PTI twine holding a little star cut with the MFT Stars Die-namic.
Here's his side-kick...the cutie PI Nurse from Best Medicine. I used the same paper, Die-namic and canvas sentiment strip for the base of the card. I switched up the PTI die behind her to soften the look.
I paper pieced her darling outfit with a candy-striper paper, silk ribbon for her apron ties. Her clipboard is blinged up with a SU clip with red rhinestone. Black Spica pen, Glossy Accent, and red rhinestone on her shoes. I colored her hat and bag with Spica pens.
This card also qualifies for the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge (Embossing/Paper-piecing), and 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge (#27 Stitching), and the Get Well Challenge over at The Paper Variety. Such fun cards! I really hope their recipient's like them. :D
Have a great day and I'll be back with you tomorrow with a new Catered Crop challenge!

Zombie Love
Hey everyone! Hope everyone had a great Valentine's day. I have a super funny Valentine to share with you today. I made this card for Riley, who is a HUGE zombie fan. I started with the MFT week 6 sketch and used the papers from Basic Grey Wander that matched up perfectly with Colour Q's challenge this week:

I had saved a card made by Jody Morrow, back in January that I CASED. I even borrowed her sentiment, cuz it was so fabulous! Here's the card:
When Riley and I first started dating, we took a FB quiz and learned that a) Riley will have a 98% survival rate and b) I would die within seconds of the infestation. LOL The sentiment is fabulous....
Bwahahahahahaha!! Funny, huh?! I'll be mailing it to him tomorrow. A little late, but with all that's been going on, he understands and will still love it. I'm also entering this into my Catered Crop DT Sista's weekly challenge, That's Krafty Thursday #47. :D
Now go get a little inky and have a great day!

Forgotten Stamp Friday 05
Hey everyone! This is gonna be the quickest post evah! Jessie (my bad! girl, I am soooo sorry) is hostessing a new challenge, Forgotten Stamp Friday (FSF05). The challenge is to use your forgotten stamps. Well, although this is stamp set is not 6 months old, it has just been sitting, forgotten in a bin, so I thought I'd join her this week.
So here's my card using a stamp set from MFT's Pure Innocence line called Making A List. I cut the card out with the largest Lacy Circle Nestie and added a bunch of layers with DP from We R Memory Keepers called Be My Valentine. Here's the inside:
I just LOVE the sentiment! It's so appropriate for me. I am most certainly a class half full kinda girl and HAD to find a way to make Ri's deployment more positive. (Although I will confess that it's only been 2.5 weeks and I'm already pulling my hair out!)
That's it for today. I have some awesome projects in the works....one I'll be sharing tomorrow. :D
